Wrap around Childcare

Burnt Ash Nursery

Our own nursery has highly trained staff who provide pre-school care and structured play activities in a caring and stimulating environment for children aged 3 to 5 years.

We encourage all children to develop their social skills, making early friendships with children and adults alike. We aim to help them to gain confidence and independence to provide a sound start to their education.

Breakfast club

A nutritious and sociable start to the day, breakfast club runs daily from 8.00am – 8.30am, ensuring children will be able to study effectively during the day. It costs £2 for breakfast and supervised care until the school day starts and £1 for children in KS2 for breakfast only. Payment can be made either daily or via Parentpay.

Learning club

If you are unable to collect your child at the end of the school day, you can ask the office to send your child to learning club, where the children are engaged in a supervised activity from 3:00 – 3:45pm. Learning Club costs £1.50 per child or £3.00 for a family. Payment can be made either daily or via Parentpay.

Please inform the school office by 1pm if you would like your child to attend Learning Club.

After school club

From 3.00pm – 6.00pm the after school club provides the perfect wind down to the school day, with a range of supervised activities, homework club, and a healthy snack. For details of payments and application please see the school office staff.

The cost is £10 per child per session and can be paid weekly in advance via Parentpay. Application forms must be completed to secure a place, and regular attendance is required as fees will be charged for any unattended sessions. Please contact the school office for more details.
