Applying for the new reception intake

Online applications for Bromley residents for reception places in September 2021, are available at www.eadmissions.org.uk.  Applications can be made from 1 September 2021.

The criteria used to determine admissions is available in our Admissions Policy 2021/22
. We have 2 reception classes with a total of 60 places available. Further information is available via

If you live outside LB Bromley, you must apply to your local council, even if you want to apply for a Bromley school. You can however include Bromley schools on your home local authority application.

The closing date for applications for places in September 2022 is Saturday 15th January 2022.

National offer day is Tuesday 19th April 2022.

The deadline for accepting online the offer of a place is 30th April 2022.

Admission Policy 2022/23

Please note that the school office cannot allocate school places.

To apply for a primary school place other than for reception transfer, ie for current reception to current Year 6, you need to download and  complete the primary in-year application form  or collect a form from main reception at Bromley Civic Centre (Monday-Friday 08.30-17.00). Please make sure you have read the guidance notes before completing the form.

 

ADMISSIONS APPEALS ARRANGEMENTS 2022-23

Whilst admissions are managed by the London Borough of Bromley, any parents or carers wishing to appeal against the decision declining their child a place at Burnt Ash Primary school, should do so in writing direct to the school.

It should be noted that if the school has already filled its 60 Reception Class places for 2022-23, appeals can only be considered on the following grounds:-

(a)        that the child would have been offered a place if the admission arrangements had been properly implemented.

Or

( b)       that the decision was not one which a reasonable admission authority would make in the circumstances of the case.

Admissions Appeals for Burnt Ash Primary School should be submitted by 27th May 2022.
