Burnt Ash Primary School prides itself on its inclusive ethos.
The children who attend the school come from a wide variety of families and cultures, which we believe makes us a vibrant and interesting place to learn.
In the last few years pupil standards have risen sharply and children are achieving at higher levels. This is due to the hard work of the children, fantastic parental support and teachers’ dedication.
On 2 October 2017 we received our first Schools for Success award from City Hall. The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: 'Congratulations to Burnt Ash Primary School for its outstanding achievements and for the hard work of its pupils and teaching staff. London has some of the best schools in the country, and Schools for Success shows the huge difference good quality teaching can make to pupils who started off behind in their studies. By sharing best practice with other schools across the capital, we can help every young Londoner reach their full potential, and ensure no child is left behind.”

Every child who enters the school is supported and challenged to ensure that they achieve their full potential, both academically and socially. Children leave the school with good levels in English, Maths and Science and confident to tackle the challenges of secondary education.
Due to our strong reputation for supporting children with additional needs we attract many children with specific learning needs who flourish at Burnt Ash. Despite many of our children coming into school from a lower than average starting point they go on to make excellent progress throughout the school.
