Burnt Ash Primary School is a vibrant, challenging and rewarding place to work. We are a large and supportive team of teachers, learning support, pastoral, and administration staff who work well together to achieve the very best for the children in our school.
Both the Trustees and Headteacher recognise that staff are the most valuable asset the school has and are dedicated to making the school a positive and stimulating place to work. This is provided through exciting professional development opportunities for staff at all levels and the support to progress into more senior roles. We support a number of trainee teachers and support assistants each year and encourage everyone to access learning to help them grow.
It is important to us that staff feel respected and valued and this is reflected to our commitment to ensure that all staff access high standards of pay and conditions, including access to both the Teacher’s Pension and Local Authority Pension scheme. These benefits sit alongside the personal touches such as additional reward days, discounts and incentives from local firms and our coffee shop style staff room.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Those appointed will have DBS checks and be expected to share this commitment. Click to see our privacy notice regarding your data.
